What is the Benicassim Dance Festival?

The Benicàssim DANCE Festival 2020 is a congress of Mambo, Salsa On2, Salsa en Línea, Bachata and Ritmos Afroantillanos held every year in the beach town of Benicàssim, in Castellón, Spain.

After the success of previous editions this year we return with a spectacular poster for lovers of mambo, salsa, bachata and Afro-Antillean rhythms.

We can say that it is one of the 5 best congresses of MAMBO and SALSA ON2 in Spain because what guides us is the following:

🛑 Workshops not overcrowded and for levels from beginning to formations for teachers:

✔ 50% MAMBO and SALSA ON2 ✔ 20% Salsa LA ✔ 20% Bachata and Sensual Bachata ✔ 10% Afroantillan Dances.

🛑 Social Dance with event attendees and all artists and teachers:

✔ 70% Salsa ✔ 30% Bachata

It is a congress both for those who have an initiation level, for those who want to improve these styles and also for those who know and want to deepen in Mambo and Salsa On2.

We don't want a mass congress, that's why we limit the Full Pass band to 400 so that there is space to dance and be at ease in the workshops and in the social dance.

Who is the Benicassim Dance Festival for?

For people who like salsa, salsa on2 and mambo regardless of level
Who is the Benicassim Dance Festival for?

The Benicàssim Dance Festival is an event designed for those who like salsa in all its styles, Latin rhythms and bachata.

We have planned the event so that there will be workshops of initiation/intermediate for all those people who recently dance or want to review and learn new steps and figures with high level teachers with different forms of teaching.

We are always one of those who think that to learn to dance well you should train with different teachers and new dance styles to discover new ways of learning and different dance techniques.

That's why in our congress there will be workshops of bachata, sensual bachata, salsa LA, salsa cubana, afro, mambo, Salsa On2 and many other styles that will add a little to your way of understanding dance.

There will also be intermediate/advanced workshops for those who have been dancing for longer with national and international artists with style workshops, free steps and more advanced figures for you to add something new to your repertoire.

There will also be advanced training with Yamulee Dance Company and Karel Flores. These formations are designed for the more advanced levels and for teachers. There is a separate pass for anyone who wants to train with these artists from the USA and does not want or can not attend the congress.
